Denver (PRWEB) October 25, 2013 Tucanos Brazilian Grill celebrates our nation’s troops with a military discount everyday. All eight locations will take it up a notch on Veterans Day, offering a complimentary Churrasco meal to all active duty, reserve and retired military and veterans on Monday, Nov. 11, 2013.
To jump-start the weekend, Tucanos wants to express appreciation to the families of our veterans and troops by providing 10-percent off the entire bill for veterans and troops who dine with their families, from Friday, Nov. 8 through Veteran’s Day, Monday, November 11 at all locations. In addition, guests are encouraged to “Share a Salute,” honoring a current or former military hero via Instagram using the hashtag #veteransday for a dessert certificate. To receive the offer valid throughout November, submissions need to be uploaded via this link.
“Every day we’re honored to serve the amazing people who serve our great country,” said Steve Oldham, Tucanos founder and president. “This year we want to show our thanks by treating these heroes to a meal on a day of remembrance and respect, and to thank their loved ones throughout the weekend for their sacrifice. Please help us honor our veterans as well by sharing photos and stories through social media.”
Tucanos combines the unique serving style of the traditional Brazilian grilling experience with the flair and festivity of the beaches of Rio de Janeiro – an exhibition-style meal surrounded by flames and colors. All veterans and active duty military are invited to ‘escape the ordinary’ with a complimentary cuisine of grilled (churrasco) skewers of specialty seasoned or marinated meats, vegetables and fresh pineapple sliced and served tableside. The experience also includes an abundant and award-winning Salad Festival featuring more than 70 hot and cold items.
Guests will need to provide proof of service, which includes: U.S. Uniform Services Identification Card, U.S. Uniform Services Retired Identification Card, Current Leave and Earnings Statement, Veterans Organization Card, photograph in uniform or wearing uniform, DD214, Citation or Commendation.
Offer is valid for dine-in only. Churrasco meal and Salad Festival are included in the Veterans Day meal. Appetizers, specialty skewers, beverages, desserts and gratuity are not included.
