STREETS OF ST. CHARLES BREAKS GROUND ONCE AGAIN WITH
ADDITIONAL 60,000 SF MIXED-USE BUILDING
(Peoria, IL, April 23, 2018) – Cullinan Properties, Ltd., owner and developer of the Streets of St. Charles, has begun construction on a new 60,000 square foot, three-story multi-tenant building which is designed for additional retail, office and service tenants at the successful mixed-use center in St Charles at I-70 and Fifth St.
Located at the northeast corner of Beale and Lombard Streets across from Firebirds Wood Fired Grill and P.F. Chang’s, the new building will include approximately 20,000 square feet of prime retail space on the ground floor, with two levels of office space totaling approximately 40,000 square feet above. The building was designed by St. Louis architecture firm, Oculus, Inc. and the general contractor for the project is Brinkmann Constructors.
Additional parking is also being constructed as part of the project. During the construction plentiful, free parking also remains available throughout the property including in the two on-site parking decks located next to AMC Theatres and Drury Plaza Hotel, as well as the complementary valet service offering on evenings and weekends.
Leasing is well underway with announcements coming soon. Spaces will be available for turnover later this year and the building is scheduled to open next Spring. Cullinan Properties is leasing the ground level retail space and Colliers International is marketing the office space for the building.

Most recently, Streets of St. Charles welcomed the 180-room Drury Plaza Hotel, which opened in August 2017 and the Brulee Boutique this past November. In addition, the St. Louis area’s first Tru by Hilton Hotel is nearing completion of construction at the south end of the development and is scheduled to open in June.
