Prasino among top 100 hot spot restaurants - 5 things to know
Good morning, St. Louis! Here are five things to know before you
start your busy day:
1. Hot spot: OpenTable has unveiled its top 100 hot spot restaurants
in America and among them, you'll find Prasino, located at 1520 S.
Fifth St. in St. Charles. Prasino is the only Missouri restaurant
represented on the list. Two restaurants from Illinois appear on the
list, both located in Chicago.
2. Bottoms up: Anheuser-Busch has been ranked No. 1 on a list of
the top 50 overall brewing companies, according to the Brewers
Association. The only other Missouri-based brewery to appear on the list is Duvel Moortgat, which can be found in Kansas City. Behind A-B, you'll find Chicago's MillerCoors at No. 2.
3. Let's talk about guns: According to a new study from WalletHub, Missouri ranks at No. 15, with a scoreof 50.87, when it comes to states most dependent on the gun industry. Missouri ranked 11th in the firearmsindustry category, 27th in the gun prevalence category and 19th in the gun politics category. Illinois came in at No. 40.
4. Get your passports ready: In celebration of the 100th anniversary of America's National Park Service, Missouri National Parks has launched its passport challenge, which gives visitors the chance to win cool prizes.
